One of the easy to grow annual flower, Zinnias bloom from mid-summer all the way until frost. The zinnia was named after the 18th century German botanist Dr. Johann Gottfried Zinn. According to Dr. Zinn these flowers were originated in South Mexico. Zinnia has different varieties from colors to sizes. You can have most all colors except the true blue. It grows from 3 feet to 6 feet. Breeders were highly motivated to grow Zinnia for easy money. It can be also used in different occasions such as weddings, birthdays, thanksgiving and even in funerals.
Some European countries were trying to develop Zinnia and even trying to hybrid. This will improve the varieties and can be more productive.
